Materials: Organic Cotton 70% (GOTS certified), Hemp 30%  Our organic shirts have been sealed with GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard). We feel that we want to contribute to a greener, more ethical future, and here is a way of doing our part. For these long sleeves are what is called Botanical Dye. Just like plant-based dyes, botanical dye colors come from plant-based materials (flowers, seeds, leaves, etc). The difference is, botanical dye colors are brighter and longer-lasting through scientific research. The potency of the colors are extracted (100% natural plant materials) and color-fasting comes from researching the perfect amount of protein agent (mordant) is necessary for binding to the fiber. This way the dye absorbs deep into the fiber and colors last much longer than pure plant dyeing from the dyestuff.
